Good Jobs Now

Tired of your tax dollars going to subsidize these fast food chains?

Do you want to join together with Detroit's fast food workers to fight for pay so they can live without relying on the government? Do you want your tax dollars to go to improving our educational system, infastructure and job creation?

Join the food and retail workers from all over who are standing up and fighting back. We're standing up and saying "ENOUGH" -- they need a living wage of $15 an hour for their families and for our city.

These employers – thriving corporations like McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Dollar Tree, Little Caesar's, Domino's, Long John Silver's, and others – are making billions of dollars, but they pay workers poverty wages and they're forced to go on government assistance like food stamps and Medicaid.

Add your name to our petition and join together with other fast food workers for the respect and fair wages that they all deserve.

$7.40 an hour -- or even a little more -- is just not enough. It's not enough to support their families, or to get basic needs like food, health care, rent and transportation. Food and retail chains in Detroit are part of a $200 billion industry, and I'm standing up to demand that workers get the respect and fair wage that they deserve.
